Hi friends,

     Just happened to read a post by Vivek (vivvaek.rediffiland.com) titled “Party and feeding”. He talks about  how at a particular party with a group of his friends, a major amount of the rich , specially cooked food had been left uneaten . Vivek had gone ahead and done the admirable job of collecting the left over food and distributing it to a group of poor children and old people. In the post , he had also made mention of an e-mail forward , which he had received and lost, about an organization who collected and distributed such left over food.

     Well, I had received such an e-mail too and it was still there in my inbox. Reading Vivek’s post, I thought it would not be a bad idea to post it here and tag my friends to spread it further. So here goes:-

 “If you have a function/party at your home and if there is excess food available at the end, don't hesitate to call 1098 (only in India) - child helpline. They will come and collect the food.

Please circulate this message which can help feed many children.
